External confidant

I spent my early years in Japan and the United States. Important years that have strongly shaped me, both personally and professionally, into who I am today. During those years, my fascination for Japan arose and this passion prompted me to study Japanese language and culture at Leiden University. International experience has taught me a lot about other cultures and shaped my dealings and collaboration with different people and situations. After working for a Japanese company for a number of years, I switched to Executive Search. I was able to further expand my experience in the financial sector. I have enjoyed working in various positions in the field of career advice, recruitment and mediation in labor disputes. During these years, my passion for helping people in their search for job satisfaction and professional growth has been strengthened. It is very satisfying to help people in a coaching role and to support them in their professional growth. In order to further deepen and qualify myself, I completed the post-HBO training to become a career coach in 2020. It became increasingly clear to me, also from my own experience, that people's job satisfaction is directly related to a healthy and safe working environment. That a safe, respectful place is essential for the well-being and therefore the performance of employees. That an organization can only flourish if people feel safe. Enthusiastic about the contributions I can make as a coach in this area, I decided to follow a training course to become a Confidential Advisor and am now an LVV certified confidential advisor. Offering a listening ear and creating a confidential and safe setting is of great importance for the well-being of employees. A safe working environment is the basis for job satisfaction and success. I am happy to promote this in every organization!
