After years of experience with various government bodies and in the business world, I have chosen to follow my heart and commit myself to a safe working environment within companies and organizations. My passion for the well-being of employees and the support in optimizing a healthy working environment makes me an involved, constructive, but also optimistic person. Listening is, so to speak, ‘key’ in our profession. The story of a reporter or complainant is central during a conversation. My role in this is, on the one hand, to offer a listening ear and, on the other hand, to gauge and analyze the need. This enables me to present the relevant possible follow-up steps to the person concerned and to discuss these with him or her. How can we prevent undesirable behavior and violations of integrity as much as possible at the front end? That is one of the most important questions that a confidential counselor always asks himself, after all: prevention is always better than cure. The confidential counselor aims, among other things, to break through ingrained negative patterns and make way for a culture in which everyone is seen and heard. An important tool that is used to prevent undesirable behavior is providing information in the form of training and workshops. In my training and workshops I ensure that everyone feels safe and secure at all times, which can lead to an open, educational and interactive conversation. In order to structurally optimize the corporate culture, a policy adjustment is sometimes necessary. This is why it is very important as a confidential counselor to provide the organization with advice based on trends. I really enjoy using my administrative and policy expertise to support your organization with advice and action.
