Natasja Limmen

My name is Natasja Limmen I live in the West Frisian village of Sint Maarten together with my husband. We have four adult children together.

I myself was able to experience what it is like when the trustee is less accessible and this experience led me to take the course. I am now registered with the National Association of Confidential Advisors (LVV) and work independently as an external confidential advisor in the Noordkop.

As a confidential advisor, I assist organizations and their employees in the area of creating and maintaining a safe and good working atmosphere by ensuring a proper reporting procedure, providing explanations and training, but also by distributing newsletters about, for example, undesirable behavior or integrity violations. I am happy to offer a listening ear in aftercare and advise on possible solutions. I know that my background and acquired knowledge contribute in being that accessible confidant.

Because I am naturally curious in what drives people, I started to study in depth by taking different studies such as Life Coaching, Applied Psychology and Clinical Psychology. In addition, I focus on communication between two parties. For this I did the Mediator training as well as supervision, intervision work supervision and coaching (HBO+).

For me, everything stands or falls with the way it is communicated and listened to. How something is said and how they come across or arrive at the other person. To delve into that, I had the opportunity to participate in a European study by IFOTES the MoNaLisa project: measurement of listening skills. Very informative and valuable. I have participated more in studies at e.g. The Trimbos Institute primarily to substance use among young people. NIX18 is a good example of this.
