External Confidential Advisor
After completing my studies in International Organisations at the University of Groningen, I briefly stopped in The Hague before returning to Groningen, where I have now lived for over 30 years.
I'm not one to sit still; I'm always on the move. I'm known for being independent, analytical, energetic, and determined.
In 2000, I ventured into entrepreneurship.I assist individual entrepreneurs with the development and strategy of their businesses, often starting from challenging situations. The ultimate goal is always to help them regain resilience and perspective in their entrepreneurship journey. As a passionate trainer and consultant, I know how to empower people, allowing them to realize their value in their work and business, and I give them the energy to pursue their goals.

I also work with government bodies and larger organisations, focusing on development issues related to entrepreneurship, the labour market, freelancers, and the local economy. Entrepreneurship development is always at the core, making individuals 'future-proof' in order for them to become valuable to clients, customers, or employers. Entrepreneurial and proactive individuals are always in demand, anywhere and everywhere.

I have always been fascinated by what motivates people, what drives them to bring out the best in themselves. I view organisations as living entities, with a soul and an identity. To flourish as an organisation, you need to understand the DNA of your people and be aware of what's happening both within the organisation and in the external world.
I see my role as an external Confidential Advisor in this light: supporting organisations in better connecting people and the organisation itself, enabling them to make a difference in their market and truly be of significance.
